  duplicate 990584

Thanks for reporting this bug. This bug is actually a duplicate of bug #990584,
and has been fixed in Ubuntu Quantal. I'll work on porting it to Ubuntu Precise.

In the mean time, you should be able to work around this issue by disabling the
Banshee.UPnPClient extension. If the Banshee user interface freezes immediately
after starting up, you can try disconnecting your network before starting it so
that you can disable the extension.

Title:
Caught an exception - System.MissingMethodException: Default
  constructor not found for type
  Mono.Upnp.Dcp.MediaServer1.ContentDirectory1.ClassReference. (in
  `mscorlib')

Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Interface is frozen. "banshee --play" works fine, GNOME Shell Music
integration as well ("next" plays the next song, "pause" button works,
too, but the "Play" button doesn't work in gnome shell music
integration). Only the GTK window is frozen and even "quit" results
into a "You may choose to wait a short while for it to continue or
force the application to quit entirely." message.

  Terminal messages:
