[ubuntu-mono] [Bug 1025426] [NEW] "Rescan music library" stops after a few songs

Public bug reported:

Banshee does not monitor my library, although the preference option is
set. When I select "Rescan music library" from the menu, I see the
progress bar at the bottom left for approx. 1 second, then it disappears
and scanning stops.
