Title:
[wishlist] button to update file names for whole library based on
  existing metadata

Status in Banshee Music Player:
  Confirmed
Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: banshee

I really like banshee's "Update file and folder names (Enabling this
option ensures that files and folders are renamed according to their
metadata" preference option, which keeps your ~/Music folder organized
based on the folder hierarchy you specify.

However, currently this renaming only takes place when you save
metadata to a file. It would be useful to have a button that causes
this to happen for the whole library (e.g., so you can
rename/reorganize on first import of an existing library). The only
way to achieve this today is to select all songs, right click and
choose 'edit track information' and then keep clicking Forward (or
keep pressing ALT+F) to go through all the songs without changing any
of the values, then on the final song hitting 'Save', this causes the
renaming process to be invoked. It would be nice if this was more
  intuitive.
