Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report on this issue.
However, given the number of bugs that the Kernel Team receives during
any development cycle it is impossible for us to review them all.
Therefore, we occasionally resort to using automated bots to request
further testing. This is such a request.
We have noted that there is a newer version of the development kernel
currently in the release pocket than the one you tested when this issue
was found. Please test again with the newer kernel and indicate in the
bug if this issue still exists or not.
If the bug still exists, change the bug status from Incomplete to
Confirmed. If the bug no longer exists, change the bug status from
Incomplete to Fix Released.
Thank you for your help.

Title:
User experience issue while shutdown
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Status in “tomboy” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I use tomboy so when I shutdown I always get a screen saying
'Following applications are running' with three options. 'Lock
Screen', 'Cancel', 'Shutdown anyways'. I always see tomboy there as
'not responding'. So my shutdown is always two step process. If I
press shutdown, system proceeds with shutdown all is well. Two issues:
1. If I press cancel, I am left in middle. System won't shutdown and I
cant see any menu bar, application short cuts, system tray etc. Can't
use the system have to do ctrl+alt+del or ctrl_alt+backspace
2. Why is tomboy always 'not responding' causing linux to show
shutdown anyway screen? All other applications are closed
automatically or forced closed, why only for tomboy it asks before
shutting down?
