Title:
  Banshee not working esp when started from Sound Menu

Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I clicked the sound applet in panel, but I didnt get it to play. A
  circle rounding there , I thought it was loading. After several
  minutes it stopped, without playing anyting. Again I do that and again
  it starts loading. I tried to open banshee from menu, but bad luck its
  not opening.

  I am using ubuntu 11.10 .
