I've found a workraround:
the proposed server path is https://one.ubuntu.com/notes/ , changing in https://one.ubuntu.com/notes (without the last slash) the save button turns on (oneiric 64 beta 2 fully upgraded).

Title:
cannot save synchronisation settings after connecting
Status in “tomboy” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Please refer to the attached screen shot.
After not being able to sync my notes using the Ubuntu One option
directly, I selected Tomboy Web and connected the software to Ubuntu
One by authenticating via the web browser. In the screen shot, both
the web browser and Tomboy's UI instruct me to press "Save" to start
synchronising. Note that the "Save" button is greyed out.
Subsequent attempts at synchronising without hitting the disabled Save
button result in a message instructing me to set up synchronisation.
