Title:
banshee dies violently when initiated with a newer database

Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Here's what I get when launching banshee. I tested 11.10 on a separate
partition, hence my banshee database was updated in version.... is
this really the desired behaviour when I try to use it again in my
  trusted OS?

  [Info 17:28:04.934] Running Banshee 2.0.1: [Ubuntu 11.04 (linux-gnu, x86_64) @ 2011-07-05 13:53:01 UTC]

Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> Banshee.Database.BansheeDbFormatMigrator+DatabaseVersionTooHigh: This version of Banshee was prepared to work with older database versions (=< 43) thus it is too old to support the current version of the database (44).
