Well, couple days ago i've reinstalled Banshee and the soundmenu
extension. The problem didn't disappeared. However today, after running
Banshee (firstly with "banshee --debug", then normally) I've discovered,
that everything is ok! (I have no idea why, maybe some updates?) I'm
rather not able to provide you more informations about this bug, but I
see, that this problem isn't very popular :)
I guess you can close the problem. Thank you for your time and sorry to
bother you.

Title:
Some of Banshee extensions aren't working
Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: banshee
I have problems with extensions of Banshee 2.0 (on Ubuntu 11.04). Some
of them (f.e. integration with the volume mixer and media keys) are
not working. However, they work, if you'll open edit>>
preferences>>extensions, then untick the not working extensions (turn
them off), and then tick them again (so you've "restarted" them). If
you'll "close" Banshee, it will go to the volume control panel;
everything works fine, the media keys also work.
The problem is, that after the next start of Banshee these extensions
won't work again and you have to restart them again.
