Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: banshee
I'm running Natty 11.04 and trying to get into Banshee and see what it
can do. There is a serious problem with the way it handles podcasts on
an iPod.
I'd imported other podcasts using gPodder and then wanted to import
music from Banshee. Everything's fine. Then I go my podcasts (Main
Menu > Podcasts) only to find that it says I have nothing there. I
reconnect and in Banshee everything looks fine.
However, now I can't get gPodder to recognize that the iPod is
connected. GTKPod says everything is there, but another (and wrong)
playlist has been created called "Podcasts." Now I have two.
So, what if I download the podcasts in Banshee and transfer them in
Banshee? Same problem!
This bug is four years old
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/banshee/+bug/140489) and according to
Launchpad has already been fixed when, in fact, it has not.
Serious oversight!
** Affects: banshee (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
