I have the same thing as in "banshee will not start". Running it from
terminal gives me this:

[Info 21:12:48.798] Running Banshee 2.0.1: [Ubuntu 11.04 (linux-gnu, x86_64) @ 2011-05-07 15:17:23 UTC]
[Info 21:12:49.924] Updating web proxy from GConf
[Info 21:12:49.989] All services are started 0,972886

Note: it says banshee 2.0.1, but I only installed that version to see if
my probleem was fixed. I also have it with 2.0.0.

The weird thing is though, Banshee did run after I upgraded to Natty
(from 10.10) and it still does run as sudo (output from sudo terminal is
attached).

This made me think I have a corrupt config so I removed (backupped)
~/config/banshee-1 but Banshee still doesn't load. The same three lines
as given before are in my terminal.

One thing I must note is that I'm running kernel 2.6.39-rc5 with AMD/Ati
Catalyst 8.841 (needed to support my RC receiver).
