I've seen this bug as well, and it gets resolved by restarting
Pulseaudio. It's not just sound from Banshee, but all sound which starts
crackling all of a sudden.

  So I'm on a fresh natty install. I lauch banshee and play some MP3, after some track the sound began to crackle. Even if I try to kill and restart banshee.
