Thanks Kamus for your quick response.

Meanwhile I installed the latest updates to be up-to-date ;-) and it seems, that I cant reproduce the failure anymore.
It looks like that some of the latest updates fixed this problem already.

And Banshee still plays the file from beginning to the end and jumps to
the next file without crashing anymore. :-)

So it seems this bug can be closed.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: banshee

  Banshee don't like Chris de Burgh... it always crashed at the end of
  the file. Rythmbox wich is parallel installed didn't crash.

  Dont know why.. maybe Rythmboxhasamore friendly error-resistant
  handling of the file or there is something special on these mp3-file.
  this happend since the last updates which i installed on saturday..

  I will add the file but pls remove it before switch to public.
