I have noticed the same thing for me. I tried to look at it once, but I
couldn't figure out how to fix it. I tried to set the button as the
default from both the GUI side and the code side. I couldn't make
either work. It has been a while, so I'll have to try again.

Title:
Enter key not recognized on logon screen

Status in “gnome-rdp” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-rdp

Starting with .3.x redesign, when you connect to an RDP client of
which you haven't saved the user name and/or password and the gnome-
rdp logon dialog appears, clicking on the Enter key has no affect. You
have to either do an Alt-O or click on the Ok button.
