This now works! I was able to fast forward ubuntu-UK podcast.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: banshee

  Running banshee 2.0 on natty. I want to go to minute 30 in the podcast
  that is 53min long. I press T and the search window pops up but I
  cannot move the bar.
