You see the same behavior importing your music library from Rhythmbox
after an upgrade from Maverick to Natty.

This is not gnome-bug #389550 - that is about importing playcount etc.
from iPod, nothing about score.

** Summary changed:

- Importing song from iPod do not set score as rating
+ Importing song do not set score as rating

Title:
Importing song from iPod do not set score as rating

Status in Banshee Music Player:
  In Progress
Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: banshee

  Description:	Ubuntu 10.10
  Release:	10.10

  banshee:
    Installato: 1.9.2-1ubuntu1~hyper1+maverick
    Candidato: 1.9.2-1ubuntu1~hyper1+maverick

I have the "write score and # plays to file"-option activated.
After importing songs from my iPod, if I open proprieties of a track I see that play count/score/etc are correctly imported but the rating in Banshee (stars) are never set.

It's pretty important to have the same rating (stars) both in iPod UI
  and in Banshee.
