Well, I am unable to reproduce the problem in Natty (Mozilla/5.0 (X11;
U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 GTB7.1).
Seems I got "novell-moonlight-3.99.0.3-i586.xpi",but about:plugins
states "4.0.51204.0". Upgrading to Natty might solve the problem for you
as well.

If it works fine with exactly the same version of Firefox as in your
Ubuntu, it must be caused by the Ubuntu packaging/patching and then can
be reported as bug here in FF, or if it works fine in newer versions of
FF, then it should also be reportable here against FF.
