Bug description:
  Binary package hint: beagle

  Reading package lists... Error!
E: Encountered a section with no Package: header
  E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/sg.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_jaunty_main_binary-i386_Packages
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.

I am using Jaunty Jackalope. At the same time there was also the grub error 15 file not found. I had to delete Ubuntu 9.04, kernel 2.6.28-14-generic and its recovery mode in order to boot. All these occurred after I tried to download and install Firefox 3.5 which ,however did not appear under Applications>internet. I have deleted from /etc/apt/sources.list:
  deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-security/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
  deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-security/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
I tried to remove Firefox 3.5 but Add/Remove would not appear and instead the above message appeared. Similarly Synaptic Package Manager was also not available with the same error message.

  Thank you very much

  Regards,
  PokBeng Lim
