Wishlist -- Auto Rename Podcasts Based on Scraper
Status in Banshee Music Player:

Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
I watch a couple podcasts that come on frequently. Currently they
download however the other side has uploaded them (ie. ted.com has
some long convoluted name to their files). It would be really nice if
there could be a scraper like there is with XBMC where we could get
the name somehow form thetvdb.com (or some other such site). This
would make it a lot easier to organize, and possibly then you could
pull the information from the scraper so we could get a small summary
of what's going on in the episodes). Ultimately it would be nice if
banshee just incorporated scrappers for everything, xbmc has really
done a great job with this. Appreciate the hard work, great piece of
software
