  crashes on song playback when last.fm scrobbler is active

Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: banshee

  Through much Trial and error i was able to narrow the issue down to
  the last.fm extension and something about it causes banshee to crash a
  few seconds after starting playback, when i run banshee from terminal
  i get this:
