Thanks a lot for reporting this, however since F-Spot is no longer a
part of the default Ubuntu installation, nor is it a 'Featured
Application' in the Software Centre, this cannot be considered a paper
cut.

Title:
  F-Spot Import directory structure

Status in Personal photo management for the GNOME desktop:
  Unknown
Status in One Hundred Paper Cuts:
  Invalid
Status in “f-spot” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
When F-Spot imports from a source, it automatically creates the
  structures of ~/Photo/yyyy/mm/dd.

Could F-Spot either provide a means to specify a directory or some
other human-readable output of the users selection?
