Hi. I noticed the output from sysinfo is identical to the output posted
in bug 596727. I am unsure if the first error ("Error
org.freedesktop.org.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Launchelper exited
with unknown returncode 1") is related to this, though.

Title:
sysinfo closes with unknown dbus-error
Status in “sysinfo” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: dbus
since yesterday at about 23:30 CET, I got this error-message in the
Terminal:
Error org.freedesktop.org.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Launchelper
exited with unknown returncode 1
This continues since then through all upgrades since this time.
Then I found out, that this bug seems to have something to do with
sysinfo. Because as soon as I start this programm and klick on the
first point where it sys "system", the program closes and gives the
following Output in the Terminal:
GConf.NoSuchKeyException: Key '/apps/sysinfo/window_width' not found in GConf

Then I checked the other programs installed, but couldn't discover any
other thing, so I can say, that the system itself runs normal and also
do the other programs installed.
So my questions would be:
where does the above mentioned Error-message come from and is it necessary to act in any way or is it necessary to do anything??
Then I want to add some information about my system:
System: Maverick Meerkat (Ubuntu 10.10)
Kernel: 2.6.35-14-generic
Desktop: Gnome 2.31.6
architecture: x86_64
