Title:
enabling bpm detection causes banshee to consume high cpu
Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: banshee
I am using banshee from PPA https://launchpad.net/~banshee-team/+archive/ppa
My library is 4267 item, and I left banshee up and running for about 4 days and it's using 50% of CPU all the time
Disabling BPM detection extension decreased CPU usage back to normal.
It shouldn't take all that time to detect bpm of 4267 items
I am using Maverick 64bit upgraded from Lucid
