Further tests after today update on banshee
running :

ii  banshee                               1.9.4-1ubuntu1                             Media Management and Playback application
ii  banshee-extension-soundmenu           1.9.4-1ubuntu1                             Media Management and Playback application - sound menu extension
ii  banshee-extension-ubuntuonemusicstore 1.9.4-1ubuntu1                             Media Management and Playback application - U1MS extension

I'm able to play xvideos files now but, here what happens 
Import the file via import media -> file , choose the file
the file is imported to the library 
in the first play banshee crashes .
re-open banshee
I'm able to play the file
attached another banshee --debug for this situation

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: banshee

  is it just me or banshee is not playing videos anymore?
  I tried playing regular xvid files with .avi extension and nothing happens ....
  I remember to have played video before in natty using banshee .
