Same same. F-Spot version 0.8 and plugin version 0.8 also. Shame,
because I prefer using F-Spot over Shotwell, but this bug is a deal
breaker for me :(

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: f-spot

  I can successfully create a new album,
  but the drop-down list when I click on "Use an existing album" is empty.  It
