Title:
  Banshee Sony X-Series

Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: banshee

Banshee does not detect the Sony X-Series MP3 player at all. Not sure
what other information you could use but Amarok as well as Rythmbox
detect the device immediately and I can transfer music with no issues.
I was hoping to try banshee because it at least has the initial stages
of playlist syncing working and no other player in Linux does at this
  point. Thanks all
