Pedro, thanks for commenting on this bug I filed over a year ago. While
I'd love to help you by providing the information you asked, I upgraded
F-spot to 0.7.3 over the past year and the problem doesn't seem to be
present in that version.

Title:
crashes when exporting photo's to folder

Status in “f-spot” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: f-spot

On Lucid AMD64, updated until april 11 2010, when I export a series of
photos using Photo -> Export to -> Folder, F-spot freezes the entire
desktop environment as soon as I click 'export'. The mouse cursor
still works but the system doesn't respond to mouseclicks. Luckily I
can still switch to VT1 using CTRL+ALT+F1. When I do a 'killall
f-spot' from there, I can switch back to to X and the system is fully
usable again. The weird part is that the export has actually succeeded
(the files are all there where I told F-spot to put them).

  Running F-spot 0.6.1.5-2ubuntu5.
