Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: banshee

When Banshee is open and a song is paused, and you open VLC or other
video player, the playback on video is jerky and freezes often. It is
caused by Banshee because it happens on ALL players and when Banshee is
closed down, the problems end. This makes video playback unusable on
Natty and is guaranteed to turn off new users.

** Affects: banshee (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
