Status in “openbve” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed

Bug description:
Binary package hint: openbve

At very low framerates keystroke actions that the user makes will not always be acted upon by the program. For instance, it may take two or three times as many key presses to successfully brake or to move down a menu (Openbve sometimes drops from a 20-30 fps down to 3-4 fps).

The likely cause of this is that the key are pressed down, and then released within the space of one single frame of game-play, rather than the events arriving within separate frames. Ideally the accurate processing and acknowledgement of user input should not be dependent upon the current framerate.
