Status in Personal photo management for the GNOME desktop: Fix Released
Status in “f-spot” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: f-spot
=== OVERVIEW ===
When exporting images to a CD or DVD, f-spot is not longer able to open the cd burner. If the burning task contained many pictures, then f-spot freezes completely.
=== DETAILS ===
--- Steps to reproduce ---
1. Open f-spot
2. Select some images.
3. File -- Export to -- CD...
4. The export dialog appears. Confirm by clicking on Export.
5. The progress window appears to show how many files are transferred.
Current Result:
* Nothing happens (in the best case). If there were many pictures selected, then f-spot freezes and has to be killed.
* If the CD burn location is opened manually, the files are correctly exported and can be burned.
* The command line output of f-spot is: "nautilus-cd-burner: not found"
Expected Result: The burn window appears to finally burn the cd.
Guess: May that be a result of the Ubuntu/Gnome decision to use Brasero instead of the "old" nautilus based CD-burner?
