Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: docky

With docky running on a dual screen setup (laptop panel at 1400x1050 and
external screen at 1680x1050) the laptop display has a region that only
the mouse can be seen in, just above where docky sits. Observe the two
screenshots attached. One with and one without docky running. Note the
black area blotting out the browser on the left (laptop) screen.
