Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: f-spot
Rename a jpg file in Nautilus so it has no file extension, e.g. rename
"test.jpg" to "test" .
Right click on that file in Nautilus and click "Open with F-Spot."
On my system, fspot does not open the file but instead displays a black
box with a red circle in the middle.
I'm not sure whether this should be raised as a fspot problem or a
Nautilus one, but Nautilus has no trouble showing me the thumbnail of a
picture with no extension, and it opens fine in eog when I just double
click on it. Also, if I try and edit from eog by clicking the "Edit
Image" button on the toolbar, I get the same problem.
I'm using Lucid with default repositories enabled (no ppas) and all
updates applied.
