Status in “gnome-do” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released
Bug description:
In Karmic Do's auto start option doesn't work anymore.
On opening the preferences window I see:
[Error 20:07:17.959] [SystemService] Failed to write initial autostart file: Error opening file '/home/michael/.config/autostart/gnome-do.desktop': No such file or directory
and upon checking the box:
[Error 20:07:27.071] [SystemService] Failed to update autostart file: Error opening file '/usr/local/share/applications/gnome-do.desktop': Permission denied
and checking the box doesn't persist in the UI either, presumably because it pulls the setting from the actual state on disk each time which isn't actually being changed.
However it works fine after I manually added it once, then removed it. Perhaps the autostart directory doesn't exist before there are manual entries made through "Startup Applications" and Do assumes that it exists?
