Can't pause network content

Bug description:
Binary package hint: banshee
Click now playing. Then Media > Open Location and give an online URL to some content. For example I am using an hour long music podcast at http://www.podtrac.com/pts/redirect.mp3/www.dancetunesradio.com/sensation/2008/Sensation_Germany/Week20_MousseT.mp3
Note how you cannot pause this - you can only stop. Pressing the play/pause button on my keyboard also results in a stop.
This is highly annoying. For example I'll want to pause if a phone call comes in, or to watch a brief youtube video, or someone wants to speak to me.
Even worse, if you do stop the content, it is then completely forgotten about. ie pressing play again will play something completely different and you have to Media > Open Location again.
I've also experienced banshee completely hanging (compiz offers to kill it) when seeking after getting it to play the content again and trying to seek to where I was before.
