(1) in empathy, when you set a status that is not available for an
accout, it put another. Take a look at the "Empathy account window", the
peer-account status is not "invisible", in fact it use the "busy" status
instead.

Bug description:
It would be nice to have a plugin for GNOME Do, analogue to the Pidgin plugin, that allows for initiating chats using the Empathy instant messenger.
