Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Do you get the same with Lucid or Maverick? Thanks in advance.

Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Binary package hint: banshee

I've set my encoding preferences to "Ogg Vorbis" (using right-click on the device, then selecting the codec). Then I copied some files to my Android device, and the files were stored as .mp3.

After detaching/re-attaching the device, .oggs are getting written.
