Hello,

gbrainy cannot accept easily two sets of valid answers. To fix this
issue I'm removing the sequence that can have two answers and replace it
by a new one that only can have one:

Until now these were the possible sequences for this numeric sequence:

3,12,39,120,363
5,18,57,174,525
4,15,48,147,444

the new ones are:

3,12,39,120,363
5,18,57,174,525
6,21,66,201,606

If you can confirm please that you can now find a second justification
for the possible sequences.

Thanks,

Jordi,

Status in “gbrainy” package in Ubuntu: New

Bug description:
Binary package hint: gbrainy

The question re number series 5 18 57 174 525 ?
gave the answer 1578 ( result of 3(x+1) being the next value to right.)

However the difference between given adjacent pairs ( right -left) is a sequence 13,39,117,351. They can be related as 13 x 3 raised to sequential powers 0,1,2,3 ie 13*3^1 and so on....

Suggested solution: as the two solution sets separate, add another term to the provided data and solve for the next ( and use both in separate questions...

cheers
bob
