Thanks for the report, may you attach the output of banshee --debug &>
banshee-debug.txt ; after reproduced the bug? It could be due that
banshee doesn't support udev yet:

Banshee doesn't recognize an external USB drive with an audio CD in it. Audio CD shows up on desktop, it's recognized by nautilus and rhythmbox with no problems.
