I've been looking at this as a means of relearning some programming.
However it seems that Tasque uses the notification area icon to also do
configuration and display standard About information. As these are not
as far as I can tell recommended to have in the Application Indicator
entries a proper port would require altering the Tasque UI to move these
in there.

I would be interested in what the general guidelines for this would be,
I assume work upstream would be the right approach but presenting two
different UIs depending on use of AppInd or not seems like a poor
choice.
