Bug description:
Binary package hint: f-spot

I use to shoot RAW files with my Canon EOS 1000 D (*.cr2). When I connect the camera to my computer (Ubuntu 9.04; F-Spot 0.5.0.3), the F-Spot import dialog pops up showing a tiny thumbnail for each image on the camera. But when I take the SD card out of my camera and plug it into a card reader, the same dialog pops up without showing any thumbnails. This is quite annoying, because the "detect duplicates" feature doesn't work either.

I know that F-Spot can handle Canon's *.cr2 RAW files, so why aren't they shown in this dialog?

Regards
Heiner
