If you're saying that Muine 0.8.8 works then I'm assuming that the bug
is fixed because all the current versions of Ubuntu have Muine later
than 0.8.8.
# intrepid (gnome): Simple playlist based music player [universe]

# jaunty (gnome): Simple playlist based music player [universe]
0.8.10-1ubuntu2: amd64 i386
# jaunty-updates (gnome): Simple playlist based music player [universe]
0.8.10-1ubuntu2.1: amd64 i386
# karmic (gnome): Simple playlist based music player [universe]
0.8.11-1: amd64 i386
# lucid (gnome): Simple playlist based music player [universe]
0.8.11-2: amd64 i386
If you still have a problem with Muine please report a new bug.
