Bug description:
Binary package hint: f-spot
Using Ubuntu 9.10 Jaunty with F-Spot 0.5.0.3
I was editing a large collection of photos (around 900 odd) when i found that as i edited photos, each edit would cause more and more memory to be used by F-Spot. Eventually it got up to about 4GB and i ran out of system memory and swapfile (after editing an estimated 400 photos).
Evidently when the new version of the photo is made for editing it is not deleted from memory once saved on the hard disk. A fairly major memory leak i think.
