As Sebastien noted, this is not tied to any one application and I think
I may be able to narrow this down a little more as I noticed something
that seems to be a little more direct as to the cause. The issue seems
to be a system as it effects banshee, rhythmbox, and even using the
mzclient app is not able to detect the server once the computer wakes
up.

On a more detailed side I can trigger the issue just by disabling the
connection then re-enabling it. Once the connection comes back online
the apps are no longer able to see the server no matter how long I wait.
I have to reboot the laptop then I am able to see the server again.

I am using a wifi connection and dont have a cable to test a wired one
as of this time.
