Don't try to run mod-mono-server manually, it'll break.

Use a2enmod mod_mono or a2enmod mod_mono_auto

to use "mod_mono", which has per-vhost/vdir configuration. mod_mono_auto
is automagic, but unconfigurable (it is forced to ASP.NET 1.1 on Jaunty;
Karmic is 2.0 as standard based on whether mod-mono-server is a symlink
to mod-mono-server1 or mod-mono-server2)
