Google says this issue is because something else is holding onto your sound card 
when PulseAudio is also attempting to use it. The relevant ubuntuforums.org

Marking this bug as invalid since it's not Banshee's fault. It's the fault of 
another application on your system locking your sound card instead of sending 
the sound through PulseAudio.
