I'v not confirming anything. Its not yet decided that Banshee is
replacing rhythm box. It will be decided only before feature freeze. If
Banshee is the default , then you may re-open this bug. The reason , why
I have set this as invalid is> for devs to focus on the open ones. There
are already more than 1000 bugs reported , but short-handed in devs.

If you know a simple fix for this , Kindly add it here . Then David
Siegel will make a final call.
