Using Banshee on karmic with AwesomeWM instead of Gnome.

On start I get the trace below:

I found a couple of references of this in various forums. One solution was to try 
% echo $DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS
unix:abstract=/tmp/dbus-JVTCpI38Ps,guid=29afd64db4a279d525c151874a48b08a

and 
% dbus-launch banshee --debug

which got me the same error.
