I have another use on my machine, and this issue doesn't appear. It looks like some information in the ~/.tomboy folder was corrupted. I deleted the following folders: 
~/.tomboy/addin-db-000
                 /addin-db-001
                 /addins
                 /Plugins

Now Tomboy starts again... I have no idea why this issue happened
though.
