[ubuntu-mono] [Bug 406782] [NEW] f-spot crashes when opening preferences window

Public bug reported:

Open F-Spot and click Edit -> Preferences, F-Spot imediately crashes.

This bug seems similar to Bug #298283. But the workaround posted there did not solve the problem.
I also tried 'gconftool-2 --type bool -s /apps/f-spot/ui/color_management_enabled 0', which did not help either.

I hope this problem could be fixed or a simple workaround could be provided. 
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 on amd64. The F-Spot version is 0.5.0.3-ubuntu4.
