[ubuntu-mono] Mono question

Don't know if this is the correct address (don't know who else to write).  I have a .NET assembly that runs successfully under Red Hat and SUSE Linux, it fails on Ubuntu because it can't find the System.Runtime.Remoting GAC assembly.  It doesn't appear to be part of the Ubuntu 8.01 Mono 1.2.6 install.  Is it available?  If so, how do I get it and install it?  Any guidance would be truly appreciated...thx.
