Same here... Banshee doesn't recognize the multimedia keys, even after reconfiguring them....
What works is Mute, Volume down, Volume Up, and a MediaDirect button (in a dell inspiron 1405) which i configured to open Banshee.
The rest Prev, Next, Play and Stop, don't work.
I'm using hardy with the latest updates.
I hope there is a fix for the issue.
