[ubuntu-mono] [Bug 186185] [NEW] nvidia-glx driver crashes upon enabling it. also can't detect cards at all correctly.

Binary package hint: mono

open system, screen and graphics to change resolution, it crashes and the bug report comes up.
enabling nvidia-restricted drivers from hardy repos doesn't help. tried from gusty repos (which do run this video card fine) still doesn't allow changing of the resolution
